The Little Princess

A switch if story here folks. Instead of being the curious little mermaid, Ariel is a curious princess. She has been obsessed with the sea since she was very young. Unfortunately, her father fears for his daughters safety where the ocean is involved.

As you see she is still the rebellious teenager who doesn't understand what is so scary about the ocean. Once she meets the merprince Eric, she is convinced the sea is more enchanting than her father gives it credit for.

I'm sure this has been done before; however, the idea popped into my head. I couldn't seem to shake it so this is what happened.
